David Israelow, the 2018 Washoku World Challenge Champion, was asked to cook and coordinate a dinner for the officials following the 2019 NYC qualifying round.  The guests were the judges, participants, media, and ministry officials visiting NYC.  

To prepare for the meal, he went fishing, farming and foraging for as many ingredients as possible.  The process was documented and footage was screened during the dinner.  The intention to bridge the gap between food on a plate and where it comes from and how it happens.
